PHOBIA Magazine

For this project, I had to come up with a magazine and create the front page, the table of contents, and a spread of the magazine.

I created a magazine called PHOBIA, centered around the theme of fear. I wanted to explore how design can evoke emotion and psychological tension, so I built the concept around various types of phobias—both common and obscure.

The visual identity of the magazine was carefully crafted to reflect this theme. I chose a color palette of light green, black, and white to create a sense of unease and contrast, while still maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. Each design choice—from typography to layout—was made to support the eerie, introspective tone of the magazine.

This project gave me the opportunity to think like an art director, from naming and branding to editorial design, while also experimenting with mood, atmosphere, and storytelling through visuals.
